Arkansas Regional Extension Center achieves enrollment goal
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — HITArkansas, a division of the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care (AFMC), has met its initial enrollment goal of 1,280 health care providers in Arkansas as part of the national effort to accelerate the adoption of electronic health records (EHRs).
“Arkansas has made great strides toward an electronically enabled health care system, and HITArkansas has played an important role by supporting clinicians as they transition from paper-based systems,” said Ray Hanley, president and CEO of AFMC. “Today’s announcement is a testament to the dedication of our clinicians to improve the quality and delivery of health care through EHRs.”
